Brendan, who started the week as World #2, got his final round underway with three straight bogeys but didn’t get phased and played the last 15 holes in level par to claim a two-shot victory, and return to the summit of the World Rankings.
The tournament was staged in partnership with the DP World Tour and was played over the Duchess course at Woburn, famous for being incredibly narrow. Many of the world’s most talented golfers with disabilities competed in the event, including eight of the top-10 golfers in the world, and Brendan has proceeded to write his name in the history books, becoming the first-ever G4D Open Champion.
Brendan has been a driving force in bringing disability golf into the mainstream and has already had two starts on the DP World Tour showcasing disability golf to a wider audience.
