Rory McIlroy added yet another historic PGA Tour win to his resume with a dazzling final round performance at St. George’s Golf and Country Club to win back-to-back RBC Canadian Open titles. McIlroy’s Sunday 62 secured his 21st career PGA Tour victory which moves him to T-31 in career wins all-time.
McIlroy came out on fire, posting a front-nine score of 29 for the first time in his professional career. He nearly drove the green on the 349-yard 10th, which kick started a stretch of three consecutive birdies. A stuck a 111-yard approach shot to 19" with his Milled Grind 3 wedge on hole 11 and drained a 40-foot putt with his Spider X Hydro Blast on hole 12. He closed the round with consecutive birdies to finish two shots ahead of the field
