Brooke Henderson entered the final round of the CPKC Women’s Open with a share of the lead and closed with a steady 67 to win by one finishing on 18 with her new Spider Tour X.

The win is Henderson’s 14th LPGA Victory and first in 2025. Henderson also adds to her Canadian legacy with another trophy, continuing to set her apart as the most winningest Canadian on both the Men’s and Women’s Tours.

Ahead of Brooke’s first round, she made a few key changes to the bag starting with the all-new MG5 wedges.

MG5 WEDGES FOR THE WIN

Heading onto the course for her Tuesday practice round, Brooke added two new MG5 wedges to the bag, a 54° and 60°, both Standard Bounce grind options. After her practice round during her press conference, she noted impressive spin in all conditions from dry to wet.

Come tournament play, the wedges stayed in the bag with a key highlight coming on the 17th hole during the 3rd round where she sunk a clutch greenside sand shot for eagle. That exposive shot moved her into the lead and capped an impressive 3 hole stretch of 4 under through 3 holes.

A NEW PUTTER ROLLS TO VICTORY

Henderson moved into the Spider Tour X with an L-Neck (also played by Scottie Scheffler) last week at the Standard Portland Classic. She saw success and continued with the model in Mississauga, but opted for a new version with a slightly different weight set up that featured equal 13g weights in both ports.

The new Spider Tour black head featuring True Path™ Alignment in white helped her line up putts and average just over 27 putts per round, her best so far this season.

Brooke Ball
#1 BALL FOR BROOKE

Fittingly this week, Henderson shifted from using a symbol on her ball to a more traditional number. In Mississauga, Brooke continued to use the TP5x which she has played all year, but only played balls with #1 in the traditional number spot this week.

With the TP5x, Brooke hit over 70% of fairways averaging 270-yards off the tee. With her approaches this week, she landed on the green in regulation 75% of the time.
